FINAL DAY OF VOTING

This is it!!  The last day of the votes and the deadline for payments (fundraising money)..  I'm at home preparing for another gym session later.  But I still have to help my sister with her exam preparation for friday..  Other than that I was at home grandparents' house earlier and just updated them on the standings till this far..

Holding thumbs that your support was enough to carry me through to the finals..  Thank you for everyone that voted... And now...  IT IS OVER TO THE JUDGES

A last word before the voting lines close!!

Hi everyone!!

It's now almost the end of the month and I would like to urge everyone to kep on voting for me to get me to the finals..  I'm busy at home helping my sister with her preparitions for her final exam this friday..  (And here I thought I was done with school hehe ;-)  )..

I'm heading to the gym on a daily basis and if anyone would like to have a free training session with me just give me a call..  You can contact me on 082 223 0723..

If transferred the fund raising money I raised to the Chrysalis Foundation's account already and now I guess it's just a waiting game..  Even though I don't like waiting.. 

And lastly I would just like to thank everyone who helped me on this journey towards the finishing line..  My parents, my friends, everyone I met during the coarse of time, sponsers, everyone who donated and attended my fundraisers, Paarl Post, The Weslander, Watchmen, Radio Weskus 92.3fm and KFM 94.5 for every helping hand you all lend me :-)...

Hi everyone!!

It's already the 27th of November and the votes are closing soon.  It's pretty close and you need to get smsing if you want to see me climb up the ranking list..  I'm very confident that the money I raised for Chrysalis Foundation will be put to good use.  I made the transfer last night..  A total of R6100**
Pretty darn good if I don't say so myself..

Terug by die huis

Ek is terug by my dorp, Vredenburg, vir die vakansie.  Ek oefen nou elke dag, en is besig om net my aftyd te geniet.  Ek kom nou net van die gimnasium af.  Ek beplan om in Vrydag deur te ry Langebaan toe om die dag daar te geniet om moontlike geleenthede te soek om Chrysalis Foundation and Mr. SA 2011 te bemark.

Die gholfdag was 'n reuse sukses.  Ek en Luan het net oor die R11 000 in totaal ingesamel vir die Chrysalis Foundation.. 

Dankie vir elke persoon wat 'n bydrae gelewer het.  :-)

A HUGE SUCCESS!!

The golf day was a huge success!!  Thanks to everyone that participated during the day and that made it such a exciting and funfilled event..  The weather couldn't have been better and the players enjoyed the American Scramble game style..  The winners of the day was James Gregory, Ronnie Gregory and Raynier Fourie; all students and all of them personal friends of mine.  They scored a round of 67.  I played just for the heck of it and scored a round of 75, individually. 

All in all it was a great succes and me and Luan raised funds for a great cause.

Golf Day for Chrysalis!!

It's the big day!!  I've been awake from 5 o' clock and it's a beautiful Tuesday morning!!  I'm going to drop all the clothes I've collected for the HAM a(House of Andrew Murray) and then it's off to the golf coarse!!  I'm really looking forward to this event!!  Afterwards I'm finally going home back to my family for my mother's birthday!! So excited about that (just being with friends and family again).

Well... I've got to get going.

Last preparations for the big day!!

Hi everyone!!

Today was a long and busy one.  My friend and I went the make the final preparations for the golf day tomorrow.  We bought prizes and updated the draw sheets and tee-off times.  I also went and visited the HAM (House of Andrew Murray).  Afterwards I drove to Cape Town to visit some friends and informed them of the golf day.

I'm pretty tired at the moment so I'm gonna go to bed to get a good nights sleep...

Gholfdag vir Chrysalis Foundation

Hello almal!!

Ek stel julle net in kennis dat die gholfdag die Dinsdag is (die 23ste November 2010) so maak gereed om die dag saam met gesellige mense te geniet.  Dit gaan vir 'n goeie doel so wees net jouself en onthou dat die telling nie saak maak nie. 

We're going to enjoy the day while playing golf and raising funds for The Chrysalis Foundation.  This will be my last fundraising event so please guys...  MAKE THIS ONE COUNT :-)

I'm in Wellington till tuesday for the golf day and after that I'm off home!! Very excited to be with my family again..

I'm currently raising money for the Chrysalis Foundation and I've found a sponser to help me out with the golf day..  If you were wondering -  I'll deposit all my funds raised after the golf day -  (I haven't been doing nothing all this time).  In addition I have to add that things are going great and I'm busy to collect clothes or dotation for the Andrew Murray Orphanage aswell.. So far I've managed to collect a BAG FULL of unwanted clothes - LITERALLY -  (Thanks for your help Mainke*)

Waiting for results!!

Hi Everyone!! It's a lovely Thursday morning in Wellington and I'm already up and starting to get ready for the day ahead!!  My exam results are suppose to be revealed today so I'm hoping for a pass (I bet we all do ;-)    )..  Further more I'm gonna go shopping for a golf shirt for this coming tuesday.  Plus some personal errands to do.  Hope you all have a might fine day..

Hi almal!!

Ek is nou amptelik met vakansie!! :-)  Ek moet net wag om te hoor oor my finale uitslae en of daar 'n moontlike her-evaluering gaan wees.  Ek glo dam nie so nie..  Ek was vanoggend by die gholfbaan gewees om te speel en my organisasie agter mekaar te kry.  (GOEIE NUUS -  Ons het 'n borg gekry vir die dag!!)

Ek is besig om finale reëlings te tref vir die golfdag van die 23ste November 2010..
En gee my net 'n kans, ek is besig om al die foto's in die hande te kry, sodat ek dit kan post op die blog!!  Geniet die dag verder almal!! :-)

Promoting myslef and the Mr. SA 2011 + Chrysalis Foundation Campaign

I've been quite busy the last few weeks with my preparation for my final exams and all the perks and cons that came with the Mr. SA 2011 semi- finalist title.  I've appeared on Radio Weskus recentley,  been featured in two newspapers, The Paarl Post and The Weslander, and also on the internet.  I'm currently waiting for response from KFM 94.5, Maties FM and Radio Tygerberg.  So keep on supporting me to get to the finals PLEASE :-)..

With your help we can make a differnece to the needed (Chrysalis Foundation)..

Visiting the Masiphathisane Primary School

Today was a different experience for me.  I visited the Masiphathisane Primary School and worked with some of the learners that under took a re-assessment test.  It was a positive goal that I had accomplished today :-).  ***(Making a difference)***

What a day!!  First I wrote chemistry exam and them Elvis blue won idols!!  Not too shabby..  Gonna need a lot of rest for Thursday..  Got a few things to organize... 

I woke up this morning feeling a little ill.  And then I found myself in the bank because somehow my debit card got de-activated.. Now it's alreadt 14:00 and I have to start studying for my exam tomorrow.  And if any of you were wondering;  Yes,  I've started organizing a golf day :-).  Well, I HAVE TO GET GOING.. CHEMISTRY AWAITS!!
